<p><strong>Jeff</strong> is a 6 month old Retriever/Border Mix,</p><p>This puppy was in a litter of <strong>9 puppies</strong>, They were brought on a transport along with their mom when they were only 1 week old. They were all scheduled to be euthanized. His mom is a Chesapeake Bay Retriever Mix and from the looks of the puppies, with the exception of one, we think the dad was a Border Collie. </p> <br/><p>Jeff went out for adoption at 9 weeks old along with his siblings. He was in a home where medical problems began to happen. The man had to start dialysis and the woman had several eye surgeries and ended up being blind. Although Jeff was being loved he was neglected. They couldn’t provide him the time & attention that a puppy needs. When Jeff was returned to Always Hope several weeks ago he had a painful eye problem that was causing his lower lid & lashes to curl in. We quickly scheduled surgery for his eye and he had immediate relief. Jeff just got his stitches out and his eye is doing great. He is fully recovered and should have no lasting effects. </p> <br/><p>Three words to describe Jeff are HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY!!! If you ever watched the animated move Up he is exactly like the dog Doug in the movie. Jeff even had on the dreaded “cone of shame” after his surgery. His face shows “happy”, his tail shows “happy” even his step shows “happy” Jeff is an awesome puppy and would bring joy to any household. He loves activity so he would do great in an active home.
