Age: 10months Weight: 20lbs Jefe is the sweetest ball of wrinkly energy. He loves to play with toys, run after his ball, run around in the park, and is an excellent walker!! When he tuckers out he loves to lay his head across you and snuggle in your neck or lap. He was rescued from Texas where he was surrendered to a shelter by his owner who "didn't have enough time for a dog". With his tongue out all day and night and beautiful blue/hazel eyes, he’s truly the cutest guy around. Jefe is doing incredibly with his house training and is VERY food motivated. He would do best in a home with another playful pup or as a solo dog with an active family who’s excited to embrace puppy playtime! He is also good with cats. He had a little bit of cherry eye which was corrected and he's recovered great! INTERESTED IN ADOPTING? True North Pet Rescue Mission's Adoption Policy

First Step: Submit Your Application True North does not issue blanket approvals, we consider the needs of each specific dog when reviewing applications. If you don't have a specific dog in mind when applying, please note this on your application so that we can keep this in mind when reviewing. We require home photos for all applicants, but can accept a video replacement. Please enter as much detail as possible on your application, this helps us better understand what you are looking for and how this relates to the needs of the dog you have applied for. For puppies under 12 weeks, we require a care plan. This includes a plan for when the dog will be left alone, as puppies younger than 12 weeks should not be left alone longer than 2-3 hours at a time. Please Note: Due to the high volume of applications we receive, it is not always possible to reply to everyone. If your application is approved, you can expect the following. Second Step: Application Review & Approval 1. If your application is approved, an email will be sent connecting you with the dog's current foster. At this time, you may schedule a mutually convenient time to meet. 2. After meeting, you have 24 hours to confirm if you would like to move forward with finalizing the adoption. After this, if we have not heard from you, we will begin scheduling other meets. 3. If you choose to finalize, we will issue an adoption contract via email. Once the signed agreement has been electronically returned along with the adoption fee (which will be disclosed prior to adopting), you will be all set to coordinate for pick-up with the foster! Adoption Fees: Our adoption fees are comparable to those found amongst other well-known rescues in the city. We only accept electronic payments for adoption fees.
