Jazzy's Story
Meet Jazzy: A Sweet, Affectionate Husky Looking for a Forever Home!

At 5 years old and 51lbs, Jazzy is a lovely husky who came into the shelter as a stray in July 2026. During her time there, she showed off her gentle and social nature, greeting and engaging in occasional play with other dogs in playgroups. She was calm on leash, easygoing, and affectionate with her volunteer friends. Our team at Dog Coalition LA fell in love with her and were able to help get her out of the shelter and into a foster home in September.

Now in foster care, Jazzy continues to be affectionate with her people. One of her signature moves is sneaking in little licks of your hand to say hello, an especially sweet way of showing her love. She is making progress with crate training, walks nicely on leash, and has been social with other dogs. For a husky, Jazzy is relatively calm and seems happy to enjoy the simple pleasures of spending time with her people.

Jazzy could be a wonderful fit for someone looking for an affectionate, dog-social companion who enjoys getting out for walks but can also settle in at home. She may do well with another friendly dog, given her social nature, or potentially as a solo dog with plenty of companionship and attention. If you're hoping for a sweet husky who brings warmth and affection without needing to be the center of nonstop activity, Jazzy might be your girl!

What You Should Know About Jazzy:

- sweet 5-year-old, 51lb husky looking for a forever family to share her affection with

- gentle, social, and people-loving, with a calm demeanor

- might be a great match for someone looking for a mellow walking buddy and companion, with or without another friendly dog in the home

To meet Jazzy, please fill out an adoption form on dogcoalitionla.org/adopt and follow @dogcoaltionla for updates!
