Jazz is a special senior dude lookin’ for some forever digs. Jazz is a 10+ year old Yorkie who came to us in pretty rough shape. You’d think he had to worst spa day in history - he was mostly blind, matted, itchy…. You name it and he was dealing with it. Thanks to a generous donor, Jazz was able to go receive eye surgery with Dr. Fuchs and can now see clearly! Because of this, he will require daily eye medication for the rest of his life. <br/>Jazz also will require a strict prescription diet and medicated baths to help him with his skin issues. Long story short, you’ll become best friends with your vet. Despite his medical issues, he’s got a tenacity for life and has so much love to give. He doesn’t mind other dog friends or cats. At 10lbs, most cats could bench press him anyway. <br/>With Jazz’s age and medical issues, he qualifies for a new program being debuted by our friends at Goochland Pet Lovers - The Gray Whiskers Project! This grant was designed to help senior dogs and their owners with more support and funding. Jazz is eligible for $750 of yearly monetary assistance for any veterinary care that he will require.<br/>Jazz is a sweet cute guy who needs an adopter who can understand his medical needs and can continue to support his care.
