Meet Jax — the sweetest 17-pound Whippet mix who just wants to feel safe. <br/><br/> <br/><br/>Jax was dumped at the shelter as a “stray,” even though he was microchipped. No one ever came for him. Jax will do best in a home with another dog or a kitty friend (or both!) He went to the dog park and instantly made buddies — he's that kid who wants to belong.



He's only 3 years old and has his whole life ahead of him. All he needs now is a family who will show him he'll never be abandoned again.
