Jax is a 6 year old, mixed breed. In February 2026, he was brought to the shelter after his original owner passed away. Jax is neutered, updated on his vaccinations, flea treated, dewormed, heartworm tested negative, and microchipped.<br/><br/>This poor guy has had a rough couple of months, having been passed from one home to the next through no fault of his own. Jax is now more than ready to find a forever family. There's not enough time in the world to explain how wonderful a boy Jax is! He's gentle, a world-class cuddlier, a gentlemen on a leash, and as smart as they come.<br/><br/>Jax gets along well with people, but would prefer a home without any cats or small dogs. He is housetrained, walks well on a leash, and knows several of his basic commands such as "sit".<br/><br/>As you can see from his pictures, Jax did injure his paw in his previous home, but he's all healed up now and good to go!<br/><br/>If you are interested in adopting Jax, please fill out an adoption application using our website (echumanesociety.org) and a member of staff will be in touch with you as soon as possible.
