Jax's Story
Jax is still waiting for his furever family!

For over three long months, Jax has been patiently waiting for his forever home... and heartbreakingly, he even spent the holidays without a family of his own. While others curled up by the fire with their people, Jax waited, hopeful that his turn would come.

Jax is a 3-year-old Boxer with the softest heart and the sweetest soul. He is incredibly well-mannered, loving, and devoted to the people he trusts. Unfortunately, the first six months of his life were not kind to him. Those early experiences, along with being attacked by other dogs later on, left lasting scars—not on his body, but on his heart. Because of this, Jax can be dog-reactive, especially toward male dogs or dogs that are not submissive or friendly.

Despite everything he's been through, Jax has never lost his love for people. He thrives on human connection and just wants to be someone's loyal companion. He would do best in a home with no other dogs, though with an experienced and patient owner, he may do well with a very submissive female dog. What matters most to Jax is having a calm, understanding home where he can finally feel safe.

Jax is an energetic boy who needs an active owner ready to give him the physical exercise and mental stimulation he craves. He loves long walks, playing ball, and soaking up every moment spent with his people. He knows all his basic commands, does great in a kennel, and transitions beautifully into a home environment.

All Jax wants is what every dog deserves—a chance. A family. A place where he can finally stop waiting and start living. He has so much love left to give and is just hoping someone will look past his past and see the amazing dog he truly is.

Could you be the one to give Jax the forever home he's been dreaming of?
