Whether he's taking a slow stroll around the yard with his nose to the ground, soaking up the sunshine, or leaning in for a good back scratch, Jax is happiest enjoying life's simple moments.<br/>He doesn't ask for much. A comfy place to nap, a few tasty treats, and someone willing to scratch his favorite spot on his lower back are enough to make his whole day.<br/>Jax is friendly, affectionate, and quick to warm up to new people. He's highly treat motivated, knows the command "sit," and enjoys taking his time on walks, stopping to investigate every interesting scent along the way.<br/>His previous family shared that Jax is potty trained, crate trained, loves to sunbathe, and is a wonderful cuddle buddy at home. After spending time with him here at the shelter, we couldn't agree more.<br/>Jax came to the shelter through no fault of his own after his family had to move and were unable to bring their animals with them. He previously lived with another large breed dog, and his former family shared that he did well around children of all ages and cats.
