Jax's Story
Jax is a big goofy lovable Ridgeback. And like many Ridgebacks, he has unique behaviors that can prove a challenge for many people. He is extremely nervous and sensitive to his environment. And most of all he does not do well with other dogs, especially in a confined environment. I believe that he would flourish in the right environment and can eventually accept other dogs. This will require time, patience and understanding. Experience has taught me that many RR’s do not respond well to traditional training. Training methods that are too harsh or too passive often have the opposite result of that intended. Anyone wishing to adopt Jax will have a complete outline of what we have learned about Jax and what training methods work best.
