Jax's Story

Meet Jax!

This sweet boy came to the county shelter from a neglect case. He was scared and emaciated and he weighed only 36 pounds.

Turned out Jax is a lover! He loves all people, and he loves other dogs. Jax loves to play fetch/chase. He loves to sprawl out on his back with all four legs in the air. He loves to snuggle with his people. The only thing we've noticed is that Jack's gets very attached to his person/people and then he can be jealous of other dogs from outside his home to come to visit and want attention. He does not do this with the other dog in his foster home, only with dogs who come to visit.

Jax is super adorable, but he's still underweight. He has gained up to 43 pounds but should probably weigh about 48 to 50 pounds at his ideal weight.

We think Jax will do best with another dog in his home and pack. He loves to play and wrestle with the other dog and he will always submit if his youthful energy annoys them. ;-)

**Please note: Indigo Rescue only adopts to homes within 30 miles of Beaverton, Oregon. The first part of our process is to have you complete our adoption application. This helps us make compatible matches. You can find the application on our indigorescue.org website under the Adoption tab. We’ll get back to you from there. Thank you!
