Java's Story
Java is the CUTEST little staffy weighing in at 34 pounds of love - he is about two years old. This precious boy came to us from a very sad situation where he had lived chained up in a shed for a majority of his young life. Because of that, he is very timid and unsure of things in the world. He's most comfortable in his foster home.

Java is fostered with other dogs and does fantastic. He is very cat like and loves nothing more than to snuggle up on the couch and sleep for hours. He is crate trained and does well in the house. His ideal home would be with someone who understands why dogs and will give him time to build trust and understand that he's more of a homebody.

Pit bull & strong breed adoption criteria
- Must be over 25 years of age to adopt a Pit Bull, Pit Bull mix, or strong breed dog.
- Written landlord permission or a pet policy allowing the specific breed is required for adoption approval.
- A virtual home visit may be required.
- Training or breed experience is required as part of the adoption.
- Agree to not take the dog to dog parks or dog daycare.

Please fill out an application at our website www.gobeyondrescue.org/adopt.
