Jasper is in Maine!

Jasper is sweet, loving, and loyal, with a heart that's bigger than his ears. <br/>He was found with his six siblings and his mom in Little River Canyon National Park in Alabama.<br/>At around 4–5 months old and 20 lbs, Jasper is all boy! He loves to play, chew, and wrestle, and he's happiest when he has a buddy (human or canine) to share the fun. But don't be fooled: beneath all that rowdy puppy energy is a soft-hearted pup who loves affection just as much as playtime. <br/><br/>His foster family in Maine has been blown away by how smart and adaptable he already is. He loves their dog and is gentle with chickens and horses, wonderful with their 4-year-old, and has even tagged along to outdoor restaurants without missing a beat. His recall is impressive for a pup his age, and he's completely comfortable with handling from head to toe — ears, toes, tail, mouth, and food and toy give-up, no problem!<br/><br/>House training is still a work in progress, but that's part of being a puppy! <br/><br/>Jasper will be a wonderful match for an active home that can channel his playful spirit and still save a little space on the couch for well-earned snuggles. A canine sibling would be a bonus he'd absolutely love.<br/><br/>YOUR ADOPTION FEE COVERS: Transport to Maine, age specific vaccinations, Health certificate, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm/lyme/ehrlichia test, worming & martingale collar.<br/><br/>Adoption fees:<br/>Through 6 months of age $450;<br/>7 months to through 5 years $400;<br/>6 years and under 9 years $325: bonded pairs are $500;<br/>9 years and older $250: bonded pairs are $300<br/><br/>This dog is available unless it is marked as Pending, meaning Pending Adoption. This dog is in foster care locally, ONLY if Maine is listed next to the dogs name; otherwise, the dog is still waiting with our partner rescue for an adoption or foster home in New England.<br/><br/>All dogs have a current Health Certificate for transport. All imported dogs are quarantined 14 days prior to getting on transport.ve had annual heartworm tests and are on heartworm preventative.<br/><br/>FOR PUPPIES: PLEASE READ!!<br/>Homes considering Puppies must be prepared for:<br/>Flexible Schedules for Potty Training. Puppies can only hold urine for one hour per month of age. Crate Training for the next 10 months to keep them safe from chewing on everything in your home. Supervision with Children and Obedience training.<br/>Socialization; both with new people, children and other dogs outside of the home.<br/>Homes that want a well behaved dog, must be prepared to put the time, effort and costs associated to train a puppy.
