Meet Jasper! <br/><br/>Jasper is one of our newest fosters, and this BIG goofy dude is one happy, lovable guy.<br/><br/>Jasper came to us in pretty rough shape — covered in fleas, scars, and new wounds, starving, and scared. Despite everything he’s been through, he still gets excited to see people and has been such a good boy.<br/><br/>And just LOOK at that coat! Jasper is a 68-pound, 5–6-year-old Giant Schnauzer with a gorgeous sleek black coat and a personality to match. He’s underweight right now, so he still has some weight to put on, but he is already a big boy!<br/><br/>Jasper LOVES to play fetch and is incredibly gentle when taking treats. He also happily goes into his crate for a treat and settles right down.<br/><br/>We’ve introduced Jasper to a few new dogs and he is doing so well!! He loves running around with them, shares toys, and is overall just so chill and laid back! <br/><br/>He is a firm NO CATS kind of guy. <br/><br/>This boy is looking for an active home that will keep him busy and give him plenty of exercise, playtime, and attention. He has a lot of energy and would love a family that can keep up with him!<br/><br/>Jasper is heartworm positive, but that’s not something his future family needs to worry about financially — the rescue will cover the cost of his heartworm treatment. <br/><br/>Jasper has clearly had a rough start, but he hasn’t let it change his sweet, goofy spirit. Now he just needs someone to give him the chance he deserves. <br/><br/>Jasper is neutered, dewormed, age appropriate vaccines, has been Heartworm tested and microchipped. His adoption fee is $300. He will need continued treatment for Heartworms and the rescue will cover those expenses.
