Jasper (DK) Hound Mix Danbury, CT

Hi there! My name is Jasper and I’m waiting and hoping for a forever home. You see, one day I found myself wandering all alone. I think my people went off and left me, but I don’t know why because I do try my best to be a good boy. Lucky for me, a kind person came along and brought me to this rescue and now I’m safe in my nice foster home where I’m getting lots of TLC till I find a family that will never leave me on my own again.

Here are some things I can tell you about me: I’m about 1 year old and weigh in at 55 pounds. My breed is a best guess, but my foster mom says I am a hound mix. She tells me whatever I am doesn’t matter because I’m a handsome, lovable boy. That makes me happy. I am house trained, crate trained and coming along nicely with my leash training. I like to please my humans and I listen well. I am not fostered with children, but I’m an easy going boy with medium energy and I love all people so I think I’d enjoy having kids in my family. They should be over 5 because I’m still young yet and wouldn’t want to get too playful around little ones. I also get along great with other dogs and behave well around cats.

You’ll be glad to know that I am neutered and up to date on my vaccinations. I’m also micro-chipped and on monthly flea/tick and heart worm preventative. My doggy bag is packed and I’m so excited to get the word that my forever home has been found.
