Jasper's Story

Poor Jasper really landed in the wrong hands at the start of his life. The guy who bought him left him behind when he left his girlfriend and baby. The girlfriend didn't want the dog in the first place and lives in a high-rise apartment building in Orlando. Rather than doing the right thing, she put him out on the tiny balcony in the direct sun and left him there with no blanket or dog bed. The neighbors could hear him crying pitifully all day and night long with her screaming at him to "shut the F..up". The neighbors reached out for our help and there wasn't a chance that
Jasper was going to spend one more day out there once we knew of his situation.
What we know about Jasper is that he is a young husky mix, predominantly husky from his looks. He is very young, maybe 10-11 months old. He is a happy boy in spite of is rough beginning and his joy was boundless when he was taken out of that situation. We got him neutered and vaccinated and he is considered by our vet to be completely healthy with no issues.

This is a nice dog. He did not deserve that treatment and he fully deserves a happy life where he is treated with love and gets the activity that a young, active dog craves. He is a medium size dog, weighing in the 50 lb. range.
His foster mom says he is doing great, he is crate trained and gets along with other dogs and also kids. Cats unknown.
