Soaking up the sunshine, belly rubs, playing with other dogs, napping on his bed, and dreaming about rotisserie chicken. <br/><br/>Jasper has made incredible progress in foster care!<br/><br/>He is:<br/>- Housebroken and lets you know when he needs to go outside<br/>- Crate trained and sleeps peacefully through the night<br/>- Extremely smart and loves to learn!<br/>- He already knows sit, paw, up, down, and bed<br/>- Medium energy. He loves walks and playtime, but mental enrichment is just as important for this clever boy<br/>- Making great progress with leash walking and gaining confidence in the city but could use some work<br/>- Great with other dogs and loves to play (not yet tested with cats)<br/>- Food motivated, making training lots of fun<br/>- Super cuddly and happiest spending time with his people<br/>- Great at entertaining himself with toys and settling down after exercise<br/>- Calm and peaceful on car rides <br/><br/>Jasper has truly blossomed over the past few weeks. He can still be a little shy around new people and loud noises, but his confidence grows every day. Having another friendly dog by his side makes a huge difference and helps him feel safe while exploring the world.<br/><br/>Jaspers ideal home:<br/>- Another friendly, playful dog (preferred but not required)<br/>- A fenced yard where he can relax in the sun and get his zoomies out<br/>- Someone who enjoys training and giving him fun mental challenges<br/>- Prefer children 10+ or older due to some herding breed and puppy mouthiness<br/><br/>Jasper is ready for a family who will continue building his confidence and help him become the amazing companion hes meant to be.
