I've been told Pekingnese can be this way when meeting new people.<br/>Jasper is full of love and fun. He would love to go to a home with another playful dog. Jasper has a comedian side to him. He will come running in the house after going out to potty and tell me all about his adventures outside while also pulling himself across the floor to get his humans to play with him. When you go to pick him up he kinda goes limp in your arms while sitting up with his head falling backwards. It's hard to describe but he kind of turns into a rag doll. Sometimes he can get overly dramatic when l pick him up and he will chirp like it hurts but it is because he really doesn't want to be picked up at the time. He hasn't been cat tested but that is something we can do if needed.<br/>Jasper was not housebroken when we got him but he has been doing so great the past few weeks. I will still put a belly band on him just to deter him from wanting to mark. A belly band wraps around their waist and velcro holds it together at the top. It works great at not allowing male dogs to mark on anything in the home.<br/>Jasper is crate trained and will bark to go potty. He sleeps thru the night in his. I use crates for all my foster dogs at night. I have left him out in a room that is blocked off with doggy gates and the little guy did great. However, l crate him at night just in case his new family needs to.<br/>Give Jasper a chance!
