He is being fostered in the same Houston home where he was born and can transport to the Petfinder-listed city once an adopter has completed our screening process, virtual home visit, and reference checks.<br/><br/>This guy is the action hero of playtime and the sweetheart of snuggles! This handsome boy is part of a litter of happy, social pups who love people and each other. Jason is a calm, stoic little guy who's just as happy to pose for his foster mom in the yard as he is to romp around with his toys. He loves being chased by his siblings, carrying around his favorite toys, and soaking up attention from his people.<br/><br/>His siblings have been adopted and he enjoys playing with the other dogs at the foster home. He has gone to boarding when the foster is on vacation and has done great meeting new people and had fun in a couple playgroups.<br/><br/>He lives in a home with a 5 year old child. The child can or will play hard with Jason so something to be aware of if you have younger kids in the house. Jason will redirect and listens really well.<br/><br/>There are chickens and pet birds. He is curious about the chickens, but has not tried to go after or hurt them. He has not been around cats, so we can't say for sure how he would react to them.<br/><br/>His foster mom said that Jason is a little sensitive. Umbrella's and occasional loud noises make him nervous. The home where he spent a lot of his life we believe there was a fair amount of yelling between the adults in the home. He was moved from there about 4 months ago and has greatly built his confidence! He was initially more nervous of meeting new people, but the foster home has really worked with him on greeting strangers. They have a fair amount of people in and out of their home (have a home business) and he's doing really great.<br/><br/>Hes already showing what a smart and eager-to-please boy he is! Jason knows sit, stay, and lay down. Hes crate trained, nearly potty trained, but not yet leash trained, so his new family should be ready to continue that guidance. Like all young pups, hell thrive with consistency, structure, and positive reinforcement as he grows.<br/><br/>He's very friendly and athletic (we have some great action shots from his boarding). He is very eager to please and his foster mom raves about him. He walks fairly well on leash. He does great when he's crated and he's housebroken.<br/><br/>Jason is looking for a home who understands being patient during his initial transition and will continue to provide structure and routine.<br/><br/><br/>***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown.
