Jason's Story

Meet Jason!

Breed: Husky Mix (Smaller)
Age: 8 months
Fostered in: Lindsay, ON

Jason is a young boy full of love, softness, and so much potential. Despite his rough start in life after being rescued from Manitoba, he's still incredibly trusting, affectionate, and eager to bond with people he just wants to be close, included, and loved.

He's a medium-energy pup who is friendly with kids and loves other dogs, truly enjoying their company and companionship. He thrives on connection and being part of the family.

Jason is almost fully house trained and has mastered crate training, and he's settling well into a home routine. He already knows basics like sit, lay down, leave it, and come, and he's working on stay and general manners. He's a smart boy who responds really well to consistency and positive reinforcement, and he's still learning that life is safe and predictable.

At mealtimes, Jason is still learning boundaries and is working on not resource guarding food, but he's improving with structure and guidance. He's a young pup who is still figuring things out, especially around excitement and impulse control, but he's very responsive to training.

Jason is great on leash one-on-one and enjoys walks, though he can get stronger and more forward when another dog is around from excitement. He continues to improve with direction and consistency.

What makes Jason special is simple he is pure heart. He's gentle, affectionate, and still believes in people. He just needs a home that will guide him, be patient with him, and let him grow into the amazing dog he's meant to be.

Jason isn't just a dog looking for a home, he's a loyal friend in the making, ready to give his whole heart to the right family.
