Hi there! I’m Jasmine, a 10-month-old, 9-pound Yorkiepoo with a gentle little heart, a sweet soul and a whole lot of love just waiting to blossom! I’m a shy, quiet girl who is still learning that the world can be a safe and wonderful place. Nobody really knows what my life was like before I came into rescue, but something about my past has left me a little unsure of myself. Sometimes I seem a bit shut down, almost like I’m afraid to let my true personality shine. But underneath that timid exterior is a precious little puppy who deserves to experience all the happiness, love and security that life has to offer. I just need someone willing to give me the time and patience to discover it!<br/><br/>Now, there is one thing that brings out a completely different side of me, and that’s TOYS! Give me something fun to play with and suddenly that quiet little girl starts coming to life! It’s almost like I forget about my worries for a little while and remember that I’m still just a puppy who deserves to have fun. I have a nice medium energy level and I’m hoping that as my confidence grows, more and more of my playful personality will shine through. When I first arrive in my forever home, I’ll need a few days to decompress, settle into my surroundings and learn that I’m finally safe. I’m looking for a patient, understanding family who won’t rush me or expect me to be outgoing right away. I get along wonderfully with other dogs and love people, even if I’m a little hesitant at first. With gentle encouragement, a little time and plenty of toys, I know I can blossom into the happy, confident girl I was always meant to be. Sometimes the most beautiful transformations happen when someone simply gives you the chance to feel safe enough to be yourself.<br/><br/>I’m dog friendly, people friendly once I feel comfortable and can be cat tested upon request! I’ll come fully vetted for my age, spayed, microchipped and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives. My adoption also includes one month of FREE pet insurance plus a Fi Nano Mini GPS tracker with six months of tracking service ($20 activation fee)! I may be a little quiet right now, but I have my whole life ahead of me and so many happy memories waiting to be made. I don’t need someone to fix me or rush me.
