Jaq 's Story
Gus and Jaq found themselves at Outrun when their owner passed away. At 16 they are very old, almost ancient, but they still have love and life to give. We would love to find Gus and Jaq a home together however since Gus steals the bed and Jaq steals the food, during certain times of the day they are separated and would be okay going to separate homes.

They are unfazed by cats and other dogs, both prefer to do their own thing. Gus doesn't like to share his bed but Jaq would very much like to cuddle with Gus!

Despite each having only one tooth, they still enjoy their kibble. Without a full medical history we aren't sure if their teeth fell out or if they were surgically removed. Even with their tiny bellies, they still look forward to breakfast time. Gus is on a special diet to support his kidney health and Jaq is on a senior diet.

Our vet ran bloodwork and found that Jaq is quite healthy but Gus has some age related changes in his results. Neither dog needs medication nor ongoing treatment.

If you are interested in adopting , please complete an adoption application at https://form.jotform.com/250635924183055 .
