Jane's Story

Meet Jane, a beautiful blue, tan, and white puppy from the Jetsons litter. She is about 5 months old and currently weighs around 25–30 pounds. We expect she will mature into a medium-sized dog, likely in the 45–60 pound range when fully grown. Her breed mix is a best guess but may include Border Collie, Labrador Retriever, German Shepherd, possibly some Cattle Dog, and likely one or two additional breeds.

Jane and her siblings were originally found on the streets in Texas underweight and in need of care. Since arriving in foster, she has received proper nutrition, veterinary attention, and time to settle in, and she has made great progress.

Jane is a playful girl who really enjoys the company of other dogs. She loves to wrestle, interact, and engage with her canine friends, and would likely thrive in a home with another dog to share playtime and continue building her social skills. She plays enthusiastically but is respectful and knows when to take breaks.

Jane enjoys meeting new people and quickly shows her affectionate side. She loves being petted, happily leans in for attention, and will roll over for belly rubs once she gets comfortable. One of her most charming features is her large, expressive ears, which give her a classic shepherd-like look and always seem to reflect her personality.

She is generally a quiet puppy, only occasionally barking when something catches her attention, and settles quickly. Her energy level is moderate. She enjoys playtime and activity but is just as happy relaxing nearby with her people. She is also VERY food motivated.

Jane has been doing well with crate time and house manners in foster care and has not shown destructive behaviors. She keeps her space tidy and is learning routines nicely.

Jane is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines including DHPP, rabies, and bordetella. She is current on preventatives and has been cleared for adoption by the vet.

Adoption application:
https://airtable.com/appklteyg5w2e0fmu/shrY8RxQc1KxQYCuv

Approved application and scheduled appointment required to meet and adopt.
Scout’s Street Smart Rescue adopts to residents of PA, NJ, MD, DE, NY, VA, WV, OH, MA, RI, VT, NH, CT, ME, NC (exceptions considered case by case)

Kennel License #19083
Glenolden, PA 19036
