Jamie-Joyful's Story

Our feminine, tiny Jamie, she is a blue heeler lady who is the smallest pup on the place. She might be the tiniest at this time, but she knows how to navigate a pack of larger, older dogs and she knows how to stay under the radar. Jamie has been so easy to have on the farm, she is great in her crate, quiet and respectful. You won't hear a peep out of her unless its breakfast, supper or she needs to go out. Jamie is pretty darned solid with her housebreaking and she smart enough to just "do as in Rome," with regards to our routines. She never leaves the yard and has excellent recall. Her attention is so focused on her person that we think Jamie can easily be a competition dog. She is very treat motivated and wants to work with someone. Jamie does show an interest in herding for those who need a ranch hand or want to show in herding competitions. She has a few younger friends that she loves to chase and face wrestle with. She completely defers to older dogs and respects their boundaries. On pack walks, Jamie will enjoy seeing new things but she never loses sight of her person and is ready to be called back at a moments notice. Her haircoat is sleet, minimal shedding with no undercoat. This precious girlie is very very affectionate and just wants to have her very own person! We personally have not had her around kids but her disposition says that she welcomes all attention. We are so proud of her adaptability and sweetness and most of all, we want to see her in her own home. Give Jamie a look, we promise that she is worth it!!

All American Dawgs's Adoption Policy
We require an approved adoption application. A verifiable commitment to your pets health and safety is tantamount to our adoptions. We want to ensure each adoption will be a good match for each adopter so we thank you for providing information via your application. We want their new homes to be the last stop for our great dogs. Your completed application can be returned via text message, Facebook message on our Facebook page (www.FaceBook.com/AADawgs), by email at Allamericandawgs@gmail.com or snail mail to All American Dawgs, PO Box 524, Rockport, IN 47635. Once we process your application and you have been approved (2-3 days), we will work with you to arrange a mutually convenient Meet N Greet. All potential adopters must meet their new dog in person and we encourage adopters to bring their other dogs at this time. At the Meet N Greet we provide you with all shelter documentation and details, veterinary records and our adoption contract. (Please note if future events require you to give up your dog, the dog is contractually required to be returned to All American Dawgs.) You may spend as much time as you like with your potential new companion and we will answer all questions that you might have. Should the adopter choose to adopt, the dog gets to go home with his new family! Our adoption contract must be signed, adoption fee of $200 is required at this time and is non-refundable. Please have a potty routine pre-planned with an indoor kennel or crate to give your newbie a successful new start. We do not adopt out any dog as housebroken (whether they are or they are not, since they will have accidents until they become acclimated to their new home and routines) Enjoy your new family member and make great memories together. Our dogs are represented all over the United States, from California to New York, to Upper Minnesota to Texas and everywhere in between. They are military veteran service dogs, they are disc dogs, ranch dogs, they compete in agility, obedience trials, they are hiking buddies, dock dogs, traveling companions and most importantly, they are best friends and dogs of a lifetime.
