Jamie's Story

Jamie is a sweet girl, who may be shy at first, but warms up quickly and absolutely loves other dogs. She has appropriate energy, a playful side, is not a big barker, and is an overall gem. Jamie is around 2-3 years old and around 12-14lbs. She was found stray, without microchip and landed in an high kill shelter.. we were happy to welcome this deserving girl into rescue.
It’s clear and heartbreaking that Jamie suffered some sort of issue with her eye prior to us rescuing her, and her right eye is now gone, likely from when she was roaming stray. We were able to get her to our vet to assess this and this will be fully explained to whoever reaches out for adoption as to follow up care. The good news is, she will *not* require extensive or expensive eye care for this eye now that we have gotten her taken care of! Jamie is full of life, deserves to be spoiled, has a fun and quirky energy, and will make a great companion!
Bio:
-age appropriate energy, is happy go lucky and a little spitfire
-great with other dogs in her foster home and every dog she met in the shelter, out around town and at her fosters friends homes
-likes to be around people, but fine when left home alone while foster works, too
, in a crate
-likes to be pet and held as she settles in
-potty trained in current setting
-working on leash
and doing well
-enjoys toys, treats and chew bones
-enjoys lounging in the yard and on her dog bed as well as playtime in the yard, likes to explore
-will make a great companion, and a great car ride buddy to a lucky family
-does well so far on car rides to her vet appointments and errands with her foster
-did great for her grooming/bath and nail trim
-is up to date on vaccines, spayed, dewormed, is on flea and tick preventatives, and microchipped
