Jamie's Story

Jamie was surrendered by a family who had to move. He grew up with them, having been adopted when he was about 1 year old. He is now 6 years old.
Jamie is a sweet well-behaved boy. He is very friendly and affectionate. Jamie likes to be in his crate at times, even when the door is open.
Jamie is a pretty active dog. He loves people, other dogs, and chewing on his favorite bone. He is very smart & picks up on things quickly. Jamie wants to be a good boy. During the day, he's often sleeping on the office floor while his people work.
Jamie would thrive in a home with a yard, plays well with other dogs, and is good with kids. Babies make him a bit nervous, but he likes toddlers and older children. He probably should not be in a home with cats.
Jamie is house and basic command trained, although he has mild separation anxiety and prefers his crate during the night and while his people are away. Jamie is up-to-date on annual checkups, vaccines, and he is neutered. He likes the vet but he does get car sickness, which his foster family is working on.
Jamie is a very good boy who would do best with an involved and attentive owner.
