Jaki's Story

Jaki is a petite, 1.5, year old, 12.8 lb Jack Russell Terrier fostered in Oshawa, Ontario. She is a native of Barbados and has been enjoying her life as a new Canadian.

Jaki is very quiet for a young JRT. She will bark if she feels there is a threat to her people, but otherwise is super quiet. Her housetraining has come a long way in the short time she’s been with her foster family - she’s learning quickly! She lives happily with the resident dog, and has responded positively to other dogs she has met. A little shy in new situations, she loves people once she gets to know them, especially children!

She is playful and cuddly and will place herself in your lap as soon as you sit down. She walks nicely on a leash and loves to be outside exploring her fenced yard and scaring off squirrels.

Jaki’s greatest talent is her dancing which is super entertaining!

This sweet girl deserves to be loved. She would do well with a young or retired family, especially with someone at home during the day, as she does get a little anxious when left alone for too long.
