Jake's Story

Meet Jake: Jake is about a 1 year old (as of June 2025) chiweenie or perhaps a rat terrier/weenie mix (best guess) that weighs about 29 pounds. Jake was found with 2 other dogs, that we presume are his brothers, dumped in a forested area in rural Tennessee. These poor babies didn't have any food or water near them and were luckily rescued in time to rehabilitate to good heath! Jake is currently being fostered in the Lititz, PA area and would love to meet his forever family! Jake is extremely playful, energetic and friendly. Jake gets along well with other dogs in the house he is being fostered in. Jake seems too small to be threatening to cats. Jake is a great little dog and will make a great family pet. Jake is currently using a doggie door to go outside and may require some patience adjusting to a more traditional house training method. Jake is up to date on his shots and neutered.
