Jake is reserved with strangers but warms up when he is comfortable and feels secure. Although he has always lived with Foxy, he is territorial with other dogs. If he goes to a home without Foxy, he should be the only dog. Corgis are big dogs on short legs. They may not need or want to run for miles but they definitely ought to have daily walks and mental stimulation – they are herding dogs. Jake loves going for long walks and with a little encouragement he will show you that he knows his basic commands. He has a short-easy care coat nonetheless Corgis do shed and they shed a lot. His world has been turned upside down; however, Jake is hopeful, that someone with a kind heart will take him home and love him.
