This sweet, loving pup greets everyone like an old friend—and sometimes gets so excited he just can’t hold it in (literally!). His zest for life makes every day brighter.<br/><br/>Jake was born with a deformed leg, but don’t let that fool you—having three working legs doesn’t slow him down one bit. He gets around great, walks okay on a leash, and is always on the move exploring the world with a big smile on his face.<br/><br/>He adores people and does wonderfully with other dogs and cats, making him an easy addition to many homes. While he hasn’t shown off a ton of play here yet, he came with a well-loved rope toy, so once he’s comfortable, his playful side is sure to shine through!<br/><br/>Jake also enjoys his routine—especially getting his chew bone every morning (a tradition he’d love to keep going in his new home 🦴).<br/><br/>His leg has been evaluated, and he’s doing great, but in the future, he may need additional care if any pain develops. There’s also a chance he could develop osteoarthritis over time due to the extra strain on his legs, so a family committed to keeping him comfortable and cared for will be important.<br/><br/>Jake is heartworm negative, neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a resilient, joyful, and endlessly loving companion, Jake is ready to hop right into your heart 💛
