(French to follow)<br/><br/>Jake is a 7 year old Boston Terrier who is adorable, energetic and very intelligent. He will need to be in a home with a fenced in yard so that he can run around and get rid of all his extra energy! He is very playful and loves all the adults and children he meets and also gets along well with other dogs. He loves to chew but has never destroyed something in the house; he will just need to have certain toys or bones to keep him entertained. He is very active but also very cuddly so he would do well in any family as long as he would be given enough time to exercise him and get out his energy; like any Boston Terrier. If he will be alone during the day it’s better for him to be in a cage; his old owner got him used to that because he was too anxious when we was home alone and he seems to be more comfortable in his cage.<br/><br/>At Balto Adoptions, adoption is taken very seriously. Sometimes, it requires time and patience before the dog establishes itself in his new environment, but there are times that it goes very rapidly. Jake est un chien vraiment enjou&eacute;, il aime tout le monde, les enfants inclus. Il faut toutefois l'&eacute;valuer parce qu'il a tendance, par excitation, de sauter. Jake n'a pas eu beaucoup de contact avec les autres chiens mais il semble &ecirc;tre enjou&eacute; &agrave; vouloir les rencontrer. Jake aime m&acirc;cher, on lui donne des jouets pour l'occuper, il n'a par contre jamais rien d&eacute;truit dans la maison. Jake a aussi ses p&eacute;riodes o&ugrave; il est tr&egrave;s colleux. S'il est laiss&eacute; seul dans la journ&eacute;e, il est pr&eacute;f&eacute;rable qu'il soit en cage et celle-ci viendra avec lui, il devient trop anxieux autrement. Jake est un tr&egrave;s bon chien, il est abandonn&eacute; parce que le ma&icirc;tre doit d&eacute;m&eacute;nager et il a beaucoup de difficult&eacute; &agrave; se trouver un logement o&ugrave; ils permettent les chiens<br/>…<br/>Au refuge Balto, l’adoption est prise tr&egrave;s au s&eacute;rieux.
