Jake 26-0592

Jake (from State Farm) is pure doggy perfection! From the moment he came into the shelter he has been nothing but joyful. He hasn't been scared or worried, but instead saw this as an opportunity to make a whole lot of new best friends. You can see in the pictures that he even helped supervise his on veterinary intake process!

Jake really enjoys the company of other dogs and is very playful and goofy. Actually, goofy is a great way to describe Jake. He always has smile on his face and his tail rarely stops wagging. He has not been formally introduced to cats but he has met the ones in the lobby and is as friendly to them as he is to everyone else.

Jake hangs out in his kennel quietly and doesn't cause a fuss when other dogs are walking by him. He's great to walk on leash and enjoys a good sniff but nothing crazy. It's possible he was bred to hunt and just isn't interested. We picture him being let out to run after some animal and instead choosing a sunny place in a field to take a nap!

You really need to come and meet Jake from State Farm. He has the dreamiest eyes and just looks at you with such love and adoration. He is totally ready though to move on from us and join a home where he can be someone's best friend.

I weigh 60lbs
My energy level is moderate
I would like to live in a home with people who like the outdoors, who are maybe looking for a walking buddy. I'd love a dog sibling but its not a must. I think I'd like having some cats to hang with too.

Want to meet Jake?
