Meet Jaiden <br/><br/>Jaiden is a 6-month-old hound/terrier mix—with maybe a little Lab in there, especially if her adorable webbed feet are any clue! This sweet girl has already shown just how strong and resilient she is.<br/><br/>When Jaiden first arrived at the rescue, she was severely malnourished (weighing in at just 8 pounds) and in need of serious care. In a short amount of time, she’s made incredible progress. She’s gaining weight every day, her coat and skin are healing beautifully, and her gentle spirit is shining through more and more.<br/><br/>Jaiden is a total sweetheart who loves attention—especially belly rubs. She’s calm, affectionate, and happiest when she’s close to her people. While she’s still building up her strength and hasn’t quite started running and playing like a typical puppy yet, she’s learning what it means to feel safe and loved.<br/><br/>She’s already doing very well with potty training and keeps her space clean, which is a great sign of how smart and eager she is. As she continues to grow stronger, her playful puppy side is sure to emerge even more.<br/><br/>Jaiden would do best in a patient, loving home that can give her the time and care she needs to continue her recovery and fully blossom into the happy, confident dog she’s meant to be.<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a gentle, loving companion with a heart full of gratitude and so much potential, Jaiden could be your perfect match.<br/><br/>Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. <br/><br/>Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. <br/><br/>Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog.
