Jagger is an adorable 11-year-old Yorkie mix who weighs about 11 pounds. This dapper gentleman is as sweet as they come. <br/><br/>Things to know about Jagger before you apply: <br/><br/>First, he needs to be on medication for a heart condition for the rest of his life. You'll also need to have a good relationship with your vet, as his heart condition will need to be monitored. <br/>. <br/>Second, he does mark when he is in a new place, but his foster dad found belly bands work well as a solution. After a few weeks in the foster home, this behavior did lessen. <br/><br/>Aside from these things, he is pretty perfect. He was fostered with another dog and two cats and they all got along great! Jagger will make an excellent pet for most any home! <br/><br/>We do NOT respond to PetFinder inquires; we only respond to emails sent to adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org regarding adoption inquires. <br/><br/>We never know how quickly a pet will be adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in a pet but want to see them during our shelter open hours prior to filling out an application, we strongly recommend that you email us at adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org before visiting the shelter to ensure they are still there. <br/><br/>Open hours are Wednesdays 1:30-6pm, and Saturdays and Sundays 10am-2pm for you to come view our adoptable pets. You can apply for animal at the shelter during our open hours or online by emailing adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org and asking for an application. Adoption fees allow our non-profit to continue to help pets in need. <br/><br/>Meet and greets with animals are scheduled after applications have been processed and we’ve determined you are the best fit. We do not operate on a first come, first served basis.
