Jager CL

Meet Jaeger!

Jaeger is a long-haired Dachshund born somewhere around 2018–2019. He is neutered, vaccinated, kennel trained, and ready to find a home that understands him.

Jaeger is a cuddly little guy who loves being with his people. Some of his favorite things are going for walks, running around, hiking, cuddling up, and of course, eating.

He can be unsure of strangers and doesn’t enjoy loud noises or a lot of chaos. Kids running around and being loud make him uncomfortable, so he is looking for a home without young children. A home with one or two adults or older teenagers would be ideal for him.

Jaeger can live with other dogs, but he needs a little time to warm up. He may not immediately appreciate a new dog in his space, but after a day or so of getting comfortable and getting to know them, he does much better. A home with a respectful dog and owners willing to give him time to adjust could work well. He is not a candidate for a home with cats.

Jaeger’s ideal home would be relatively calm and predictable, with people who will give him time to get comfortable with new people and situations. Once you’re part of his circle, he’s happy to cuddle up with you, head out for an adventure, and remind you exactly when it’s time to eat.

If you’re looking for a little adventure buddy who also appreciates a good cuddle and a quieter home, Jaeger may be your guy.
