Jade's Story
Jade came to SSRR from a shelter as a neglect case where she was severely underweight. She was tied out in freezing temps with no shelter to help her stay warm. As you can see from her pictures, Jade is now a very healthy girl who has learned to trust people again while being with her foster family.

Jade is still a bit leery when meeting new people but she warms up very quickly once she realizes that you are a friend and not going to hurt her. She does much better with women but has learned that men aren't so bad. She loves being pet, just don't reach over her head to pet her. She still cowers at times when that is done to her. Jade gets along extremely well with other dogs and loves to play. Her favorite game is fetching a tennis ball. If you throw the tennis ball and another dog grabs it, no problem at all. She is not the least bit aggressive. She'll just come to you to throw another one so she can get it.

Jade will make some very lucky family a great pet. If you are interested in adopting Jade, fill out an adoption application and let's get the ball rolling.
