**I am fee-waived for the month of August for Clear the Shelters!**<br/>At 9 years old, Jade knows a thing or two about what she likes in life: good walks, plenty of treats (just watch your fingers), and people to call her own. She's a sweet, spunky senior who definitely hasn't gotten the memo that she's supposed to slow down.<br/><br/>Jade is smart, food-motivated, and already knows several tricks, including sit and paw. She can also catch a treat midair like a pro! She loves getting out to explore and has plenty of pep in her step, but she's also at an age where she's ready to enjoy the comforts of having a home and a family of her own.<br/>-If you think Jade looks good now, you'd be very surprised to see how she started her time with us. She had very little hair due in part to her allergies. With lots of TLC, medication, and baths to keep those allergies under control, her beautiful coat has come back and she is looking and feeling so much better. She'll need an adopter willing to continue working with their veterinarian to keep her comfortable and feeling her best as she gets older.<br/>Jade can be reactive toward other dogs, but at 8 years old she has earned the privilege to pick her friends. If there's another dog in the home, we'll want to make sure everyone is a good match first.<br/>After more than five months of waiting, we think this beautiful lady has eared her chance to trade shelter life for the good life. Jade may come with a few of the normal quirks of an aging body, but she also comes with plenty of personality, loyalty, and love - and she's more than ready to share all of it with someone.
