Jacob's Story

Jacob is ready to meet his forever family! He is an approximately 1 year-old, 25-lb. dachshund maybe with some terrier and a dash of sweet-as-can-be! (He's long like a dachshund but just a smidge taller). Jacob is very nervous around new people and dogs but give him space and love from a distance and he will be begging for your attention. He is dog-friendly but he has not been tested with cats nor kids. Because he is so nervous around strangers, loud noises and sudden movements, we recommend an adults-only home. Jacob is potty trained, loves leashed walks, and is getting pretty good at walking confidently on leash. Because he may need some time to re-adjust to leashed walks and he needs somewhere to run freely, he requires a secure fenced yard in his new home. Jacob sleeps through the night in his doggy bed in the people room. He really loves to chew his dog toys and would do best with someone home most of the time to make sure he plays safely and doesn't confuse other household items for his toys. If you are interested in meeting Jacob the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check and meet with everyone in the home. Jacob is neutered, UTD on vaccs, chipped, and HW-. His adoption fee is $375 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.
