He may also be vocal when meeting other dogs, but with slow, proper introductions, he may be able to make some canine friends.<br/><br/>Jacob has shown signs of resource guarding around high value food and any potential adopter will need to work with him to manage this behavior. He also has difficulty being left alone once he has built a bond with his people. Due to the ongoing training and support Jacob Black will need, he will do best in a quiet adult only home. <br/><br/>Jacob is a very clever boy and with the right home and support he is sure to be a wonderful companion. You may be asked to fill out an application prior to meeting any animals. Our visiting hours are:<br/><br/>Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 12-5pm<br/>Thursday, Public Holidays: closed<br/>Saturday, Sunday: 12-5pm<br/><br/>2.) Submit an online application at adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set up a visit!
