He gets along well with canine friends and enjoys their company, though he can be protective of his toys. His ideal home will have a patient, dog-savvy adopter who understands that trust takes time, and who’s willing to let Jacob go at his own pace.<br/><br/>With the right person — someone who sees the potential behind those cautious eyes — Jacob will slowly learn that the world isn’t so scary.
