Hi, my name is Jacob, and I’m a 5 year old, 13 lb. Lhasa Apso recently removed from the shelter by Woof Rescue. I had a rough first life – was never walked outside, spent most of the time in a crate and wasn’t treated so nicely by my owners.  But I don’t have a resentful bone in my body, and although people sometimes frighten me, I’m still looking forward to being loved.  I sleep with my foster mom, and like to snuggle a lot, and lay next to her on the couch to make sure she’s safe.  I get scared when I’m out for a walk because the street is loud with lots of legs walking by, but it’s helped me meet people and other dogs.  I use a wee-wee pad indoors, and have never damaged anything.  I’m neutered, have all my shots, am micro-chipped and heart worm tested negative, and I’m looking for a calm and loving home where I’ll be given time to know that I’m safe at last.  Know anyone with that kind of home?
