Jackson is a super sweet goldendoodle boy that was recently surrendered to a rural NC shelter by a breeder that just had too many dogs. He appears to have a non shedding coat. Jackson is all puppy and is really coming out of his shell in his foster home...we think he is about 18 months old but we'll have better idea when he sees the vet this week.

Jackson likes to carry toys around in his mouth and he prances like he is very proud of himself. He is a diamond in the rough~Jackson, and all of the other doodles we recently pulled, will be absolutely beautiful dogs when they gain some weight and their coats grow in. They all came from the same situation. Jackson is an absolute love. Although he has never lived in a house before, he is adjusting quickly and working on his housetraining. Jackson's new family will need to continue his crate and potty training. He does still startle at some everyday household noises but is getting better each day. Even with all that he has been through, he continues to wag his tail and he absolutely loves his foster mom. He loves a tennis ball and is already starting to play fetch. Jackson will be neutered this week. He is going to make some lucky person a wonderful pet. Jackson will need a physically fenced yard.

No e-fences will be considered.

Good with Kids: yes but we think he should be in a house with children 6 and up

Good with dogs: yes

Good with cats: yes

Adoption fee: $400

If you already have an application on file and would like to be considered, please email rescue@idog.biz

** PLEASE SET YOUR SPAM BLOCKER TO ALLOW MAIL FROM forms@idog.biz and rescue@idog.biz **
