Jackson - in Heave's Story
BACKGROUND: Sweet boy Jackson came to us from an owner who dumped him because he had heartworms. Jackson had been used as a breeder, and apparently he was having medical issues (in addition to the heartworms), so he was no longer of value to the owner. To me, Jackson was worth a million bucks. He was a good, loyal boy who loved everyone. In addition to his high load of heartworms, Jackson had grand mal seizures, which progressively worsened to the point he would come out of a seizure, and immediately go into another. I took Jackson with me on Easter weekend to Austin, where he rode the entire way looking out of the windows and miraculously did not suffer a single seizure for the entire three-hour ride. He enjoyed his ride, for which turned out to be his last day here on earth. Sadly Jackson passed away just after midnight on Easter morning. Rest in peace, sweet boy. Even though your previous owner was a loser, you found love here in your final days on earth.
