He's not interested in toys or chaos-he's all about love, comfort, and companionship.<br/><br/>Despite his age, Jackson is a friendly and social guy who gets along beautifully with dogs, cats, kids, and even strangers. When he first enters a new environment, his curious side shines through as he explores, but once he settles in, he's more than content to relax and enjoy the quiet life.<br/><br/>As a senior pup, Jackson does have some typical "old man" quirks. His hearing is mostly gone, his vision isn't what it used to be, and his back legs can be a bit stiff-but none of that stops him from enjoying his days. He is neutered, up to date on all age appropriate vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped, and on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $275, which helps cover the cost of the medical care he has received.<br/><br/>**Please note that the breed listed for each of our dogs is a rough estimate unless DNA results are provided in their Bio. All strays have rough estimates of their age based on the condition of their teeth. Each dog is different, so each adoption is different. Our adoption process might require multiple visits to the shelter before our dogs can go home. Or they may be ready on the first visit. It really depends on the individual dog and the potential adopters. Once we receive your application, the Dog Staff will contact you to discuss meeting our dogs.
