Jackson's Story

Jackson is 6 yrs old

Jackson is new to his foster situation and is slowly adapting to his surroundings. He is learning how to process freedom and can become overwhelmed at times. When he first meets new people, he is happily cautious and can be a bit timid. He will typically retreat to his open pen and lie down in his crate, hanging back and watching the action. He reacts positively to a comforting voice, which makes him incredibly happy.

His foster family says he eats well, loves his treats and is picking up on his commands. He’s been introduced to the family dogs and loves playing with them. Outdoor adventures are his favorite part of the day, especially when he gets to run around and let out his zoomies! If something outside overwhelms him, he retreats back to the safety of his foster dad for reassurance.

Jackson is making great strides daily. With continued time, patience and love, he will be a great addition to his forever home.
