Jacko's Story

Please contact Greyhound Pets, Inc. Woodinville (info@greyhoundpetsinc.org) for more information about this pet.JackoTag No: 7137Registered Name: Newinn JackoBreed: GreyhoundDate of Birth: July 3, 2018Color: BlackCat Trainable: NoDog Friendly: Ok with greyhounds, Unknown with othersKid Friendly: UnknownWeight: 70 poundsLocation: Woodinville, WA (Kennel)Adoption Fee: $ZeroComments: Have you ever met someone who’s easy-going, fun, and nice, then you google them anddiscover they are also extremely accomplished and talented? That’s Jacko. Jacko is a sweet-natured, peppy, and affectionate black male greyhound with the cutest “snowflakes” (little white spots) on his back. His ruggedly handsome face is improved by a small and distinguished scar, just like Harrison Ford! He’s a cheerful, charming, and self-assured boy who listens well. If you like road trips Jacko’s your guy as he’s very good in the car. On walks he’s simultaneously alert and nicely behaved, and enjoys looking at other dogs (in a calm kind of way!) About other dogs, we know he’s fine with other greyhounds, but can’t really say how he feels about cohabitating with non-greyhound dogs. Bring your dog of any breed by for an introduction and see if they’re a match! We do know Jacko cannot live with a cat. Here’s what one of his biggest human fans says about him: “My usual nicknames for Jacko are‘goofball’ or ‘goober’ because he is just such a funny, happy guy! He mouths at your hands (gently) when he is excited or playful, and he enjoys a little rough and tumble when he plays. Then, after about 5 minutes, he is tired and wants pets! He is a big leaner, loves scritches, and shoves his head into your chest for more. He is also great on a leash, food motivated, and eager to please his people. Just an all-round greyt boy!”All this alone makes Jacko an extremely good catch, right? So it’s not even fair to the other dogs that on top of having a great personality and good looks, Jacko was a big deal back in his racing days in the UK. Just google his registered name, Newinn Jacko, and prepare to be impressed. He won so many races back in the Old Country that he was a professional stud for a while after he retired! (He is now neutered, of course.) Juicy gossip: one of Jacko’s many puppy mamas, a lovely brindle named Lola, was at our kennel at the same time. We don’t know if this was awkward for them - Jacko, ever the gentleman, has not said a word! Personality, looks, and athleticism: dreamboat Jacko is the total package.
