Jack Jack's Story

Meet Jack Jack! He’s a 1-year-old Schnoodle mix with a sensitive soul and a heart full of love just waiting to shine.

Jack Jack came to us as an owner surrender after a difficult start. He was even being sold on Facebook after growing up in what we believe was an abusive home. He was not fixed or vaccinated, and his hair was severely matted and filthy. Shelter Hope took him in to make sure he received the vetting and care he needed, and the loving home he deserves.

At first, Jack Jack was very shy and scared, but after just a few days he realized he was safe and began to blossom. He has a sweet, happy personality and is affectionate and cuddly, always ready to soak up love and attention. He’s playful and social with both people and other dogs, and loves showing his belly. Jack Jack has a medium energy level—he enjoys his walks, does well on a leash, and already knows how to sit on command. He’s eager to please, especially once he feels safe and comfortable.

Due to his traumatic history, he can be fearful of new environments and being handled too quickly at first, and he may try to protect himself if he feels scared. Because of this, Jack Jack would do best in a home without children.

Now fixed, vaccinated, and microchipped, Jack Jack is ready for a second chance and a forever home where he can feel safe, loved, and truly blossom.

----

Looking to Adopt?
