Jack's Story

Jack entered the shelter as a sweet, submissive young dog.<br/><br/>He tried so hard.<br/><br/>He was sent to a foster home... and then he was returned.<br/><br/>Now, barely over 1 year old, Jack is facing euthanasia.<br/><br/>He has been affectionate and friendly with some staff, unsure with others. He needs time, patience, and training<br/><br/>from his new foster: We are still getting to know each other but he loves kids, but can get overexcited sometimes. He has also been around our other pets and is very curious about making new friends. So far he has made friends with a kitty, another doggie and a bunny. Jack is a very sweet boy and he hasn't had any potty accidents and is learning to sit, stay and walk on a leash and is loving it! <br/><br/>: Hi my name is Jack! I am 1 1/2 years old and love to play. Did you say balls or was that a squeaky toy that I heard? I am looking for my new best friend do you have an opening in your heart and in your home? Some new things can be a little scary but once I warm up, I will ask for lots of belly rubs and snuggles. Babies are also a lot of fun! They drop lots of treats on the floor and have faces to clean. I cant wait to meet you!
