JACK's Story
This handsome boy is JACK, a 4 year old male Wooly Siberian Husky that came to HOPE so that he could find a home that suits his needs. Jack is an active dog that is looking for a home that will give him daily excercise even through the long winter months because that is when he absolutely thrives! He needs someone who understands the husky breed and has experience with them because he is husky through and through. He is not a sit on the couch and entertain himself kind of dog. Hes a dog that wants to play, walk and run and if hes not getting that stimulation, he will definitely let you know. Not only is he high maintenace in terms of physical activity, he is also high maintenance as far as grooming goes. Jack does well with most of the dogs here but can be forward and vocal, so he would do best with a playful, friendly dog that also knows to leave him alone when hes had enough. Any potentional adopters will need to come and visit him several times before taking him home as he needs time to get used to strangers handling him. Once he is totally comfortable with you, he is great, but that is why we are requiring several meet and greets prior to adoption. Jack would do best with older (teenager) children in the home.
