Foster location: Laingsburg, Michigan <br/><br/>Meet Jace! This sweet 5 year old Golden is looking for his forever home. He needs a home with no little humans, teenagers and up only for this boy. The little ones make him anxious and he has shown he isn’t comfortable with them being around him so no exceptions will be made to the requirement. Jace is a typical Golden who loves to be near his humans and play ball. He has shown some resource guarding tendencies around food and high value toys in his prior home towards other dogs so a home with an easy going dog that knows how to manage that is ideal. He is enjoying the company of the other dogs in his foster home and has started to show his playful side, he has lived with a cat before with no issues. If allowed he will crawl up on the couch and cuddle.<br/><br/>Jace is 93 pounds currently and does need to lose some weight so an active home that will make sure he gets the exercise he needs and works to get him down to a healthy weight is ideal. He loves to go for walks and is excellent on a leash. He also loves to play fetch and is great about bringing the ball back. <br/><br/>Jace is neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm negative and microchipped. He is up to date on heartworm and flea/tick meds. <br/><br/>Adopt A Pup Animal Rescue does not have a physical shelter location, all of our pets are in foster homes. To meet one of our animals, you will need to fill out an application.
