Izzy is a special girl who has quite the resilient story!<br/>Her owner got deported, displacing her and her 5 furry family members, landing her at the city shelter. They were all very scared and confused.<br/><br/>She was quickly adopted due to her adorable size and look. <br/>When the adopter was on the way home, they opened the car door and she got loose. We worked on securing her for 21 days... mapping her movements, establishing her source of food, and even brought her mom Eden (who has since been adopted!) into our care to help lure her. <br/>Izzy was young and small, but a survivor! She beat the odds of dangerous roads, coyotes in the area, and the elements. <br/><br/>Once we safely caught her, you could tell how relieved she was.
